A mug earns its place slowly. It becomes familiar through repetition, settling into the small routines that shape a day.
It lives in real life. It waits on the counter, sits beside a book, travels to a desk, and returns to the sink.
The mugs people use most are not always the ones saved for special occasions. They are the ones that feel right in the hand and fit naturally into the day.
Over time, an ordinary object begins to hold memories because it was present for them.
That is the rhythm I think about when I design. I want each mug to feel beautiful, useful, familiar, and ready to become part of someone’s everyday life.
